Make the least of all that goes and the most of all that comes.

Don't try to be holy without first being human.

Our Chosen Path

When you think of all the bad that has happened in your life; things you've struggled to forgive or forget, bad memories, the hurts, and much more, see them for what they really are.  As the only path that God could have chosen for you to insure your safe arrival into His waiting arms in heaven.

The path He chose for you to walk is an absolutely unique and individual path, like a fingerprint.  A path that no one else could take but you.  Why this particular path you may wonder?  Wouldn't some other path have been so much better, so much easier?

But God's infinite wisdom knows exactly what path you must walk to detach you from the world and yourself.  He knows too what path you need to take to help clear a pathway for your loved ones and those in your family yet to come.

Think too that as your life's path was so specifically chosen for you, then what need is there to be angry or resentful of what happened on that path?  What further need is there to rebel or to try and change something you thought should never have been?  And who is left now to hate or to blame?

And as the path you've traveled thus far was chosen for you by God, then so is the path that yet lies in front of you. So there is no need for fear or worry about the future. Your future, like your past, are in God's hands.

Trust that God is right beside you holding your hand all the way. He chose the path you would walk and promised He would walk that path with you, every step of the way.

"I am holding you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God - and I say to you, don't be afraid; I am here to help you." Isaiah 41:13

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will guide and direct your path.  Proverbs 3:5-6
